Located in the module behind the little screen.. hope this helps. edit: and as for no heat, I've never seen one of these sensors cause said problems. 2009 BMW 335i Sedan [0.00] Make sure that the fan is not obstructed. If not and the fan is getting correct voltage and a signal then the fan motor is probably shot. I've consulted the Bentley manual and it doesn't indicate recoding is necessary if the fan is replaced. If it does, this might be the issue as well. Drives: 2006 bmw 325i. Join Date: Jan 2019. Location: Minnesota. iTrader: ( 0) 06 325i no ac/heat blowing. Replaced blower motor and resistor but still not blowing. Check function controller okay, measure power at resistor 14.75 volts but check at the blower motor is .07 volt. Need diagnostic help, much appreciate. My heater/air-con fan has stopped working and I have checked fuse 76 is ok. Got INPA working and am trying to get to grips with it. Had a look through the air-con sub-menu to try and pin-point the fault. I can tell it to adjust the controls via my laptop. Fan still does not work though. Join Date: Sep 2013. Today I got a "remedy available" letter for the PCV valve heater recall announced this spring but had no solution at that time. The fix is to install a wiring harness with an inline fuse, which will presumably blow instead of catch on fire when New.Water Pump not working. I have a 2008 328i and replaced the water pump and thermostat. The pump still doesn't work. I checked the fuse in the right side of the engine compartment, and the 2 fuses under the dash. Plus the fuses over the battery. All is ok. I have 12 volts at the pump in 2 places, and checked ground connection at the pump. Sure, 270 oil temp is hot, but the oil cooler gets no help from the radiator fan. These engines are designed to run a lot hotter than previous generations for 2 reasons: aluminum block sheds heat faster than older cast iron engines, and fuel efficiency. Hotter engine = better fuel efficiency. The electric control only activates during extreme heat conditions. For practical purposes, it works conventionally, but because of the sealed electric connection, you have to replace the entire housing. It is actually a 103 C thermostat, so if you want to test it on a stovetop, you'll need to heat it in coolant. FyfV.
