Yes, I've completed the story and, as far as I can tell, gotten every Mastery Insight that doesn't require a Jackal Portal to reach. I am still like 10 Mastery off having enough to get it done, then as I said, there's still the Griffon to entirely master that I've seen mastered by plenty of people as well, so I just don't get how everyone is getting that many Masteries this quickly, when the
Game Discussion. Guild Wars 2 Discussion. I have every mastery completed in Heart of Thorns, I have finished every inch of that expansion but I have 8 available points left to spend. Same with central Tyria, every track done but three points left. I don't think I've missed anything in the game so I'm wondering is there something new comi
As other people have said already, the way the mastery system works in Guild Wars 2 is that you must be in a Heart of Thorns zone to progress Heart of Thorns masteries. This means that in order to level your masteries for gliding you need to do events and kill enemies in the following zones: Verdant Brink, Auric Basin, Tangled Depths and Dragon
Fluffball.8307. You need to gain experience while on HoT maps. One thing you can do is go where no one goes and there are a lot of enemies. The longer an enemy is alive, the more XP it gives. What that means is, go kill the endless hordes of chak in Tangled Depths. You'll get like 4k extra bonus experience every kill if you use some consumables.
There are already 32 more points more than what is needed to max out every core mastery. You also don't need spend any points in the fractal masteries if you don't do fractals. Only Hidden Garden and the Silverwastes JP give a mastery point anyway. You don't need to dodge anything if you are dead 😉.
Just check your achievement log. Any category with a red mastery point symbol contains one (or more) open achievement that rewards a central Tyria mastery point. Sub-categories and the achievements themselves are marked with the same symbol. Or check the wiki if you really find the achievement description unclear.
For mastery points you have to select the line, then earn the XP, then spend the points. Run the map metas a couple times, the XP comes easily. Hell they should do adventures. If they never did them, the exp from the first run alone should be a pretty good chunk. Yo, do the adventures if you haven't done them yet.
For example Gliding Mastery Rank 1 required 1 Point, once you get enough exp to max Rank 1 and spend a point to unlock it then you gain 1 Mastery Level, Gliding Rank 2 required 2 Points which mean 2 Mastery Levels will immediately granted upon finished Rank 2. There are 4 kind of mastery atm, Green is HoT, Purple is PoF, Red is core game, Blue
